Salop Medical Services (UK) Ltd was formed as Salop Medical Services in 2010 by Robert Wallace and became a limited company in October 2014. Established with the aim of providing first aid training and event medical cover at affordable prices. Salop Medical Services (UK) Ltd's vision is to provide that vital care, training and medical cover to the most appropriate level for your requirments whilst ensuring that the highest possible standards of care and professionalism are maintained.
Salop Medical Services (UK) Ltds staff are committed to providing excellent care on a daily basis and ensuring the safety of the public. All of our medical and training personnel are qualified to a minimum of QCF Level 3 (First Aid at Work) with all lone workers being a minimum of IHCD First Person On Scene (FPOS) Intermediate, or equivalent, with at least 1 years post qualification experience.
Services provided can be anything from simple advice or a single first aider to a major treatment centre. Our staff competency is extensive and will be sure to provide the cover that you need at a very competitive price.

We are now able to provide ambulance transport services. We are able to do both short and long distance transports including repatriations to / from continental Europe with several of our staff able to converse in more than 1 language.
Our ambulances can be crewed depending on your requirements from Emergency Care Assistants for basic transport to HCPC paramedics, nurses and Remote Medical Practitioners.
Our Ambulance Service is ideally situated to provide short notice transport in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, Staffordshire, the West Midlands and into Wales.

Meet The Team

Rob Wallace FPHC RCSEd | Managing Director
Remote Medical Practitioner, IHCD Technician
Robert has a long history in first aid and emergency medicine gaining his first St John Ambulance qualification in 1986 at the age of 13. Since then he gained the First Aid at Work certificate in 1990 before becoming a Combat Medical Technician in the Territorial Army for 16 years, seeing active service in Bosnia, the Falkland Islands and Afghanistan. Since 2005 Robert has been an active member of the Severn Area Rescue Association as a first aider, Rescue Technician and instructor. In 2007 he joined the NHS ambulance service and worked in the public sector for 3 years before leaving to train as a Remote Medical Practitioner. As a Remote Medical Practitioner he has worked for the United Nations in Afghanistan providing both primary health care and medical and trauma emergency response.

IHCD First Person On Scene (Intermediate)
Iain entered the Army straight from school as a vehicle specialist with the Royal Army Ordnance Corps transfering to the Royal Logistics Corps on its formation. In over 24 years of service with the Army Iain saw active duty in Croatia, Bosnia, Cyprus, Afghanistan, Iraq and Northern Ireland driving a full range of vehicles including Ambulances and Artic (C+E) lorries. Iain completed his time with the armed forces as a SNCO with 11 (EOD) Regt RLC.
